About Cyndie

Cyndie lives an entrepreneurial life and is an active community builder. After earning her Business Administration (Marketing Major) from Red River College, she started a photography business in 2004, specializing in wedding photography and baby photography. She added a small gift shop a few years later featuring gift items, art prints, and custom framing.

Shortly after starting in photography, Cyndie created a small circuit of wedding/bridal shows to promote her photography business in 2005. This is where she first started helping other businesses with their marketing and promotions. Not only were these shows effective marketing events, she also started working with show vendors to provide professional photography services and then started to build websites and ad campaigns.

In 2012 she transitioned to marketing consulting and started ZAMM Communications. She quickly started getting blogging, website, and social media clients in trucking & transportation and in tourism.

Cyndie has been a prominent volunteer in her hometown of Lac du Bonnet Manitoba, offering her professional skills to local non-profits. She’s been involved with the Fire & Water Music Festival (former board member, Marketing, Bar Manager), Lac du Bonnet Recreation District (former board member), and the Lac du Bonnet Community Centre (former board member, coordinating fundraising events).

Today she serves her community as the Economic Development Officer for the Lac du Bonnet Economic Development Corporation, and works on business and marketing planning through ZAMM Communications.
